It looks like RCI is fed up with my complaints about the website. They have declared me "persona non grata" and won't even accept my login info, even though it hasn't changed in years. Calls to the automated online help number are useless since all it does is prattle about irrelevancies and then tell you to email! Seems the more they work on your computers, the worse the service is.

As a clarification, my sign-on to the weeks system is not being recognized at all this morning. Was working OK yesterday.

I can sign on to points where I can search in weeks ( second search location box still not working ), but using points as a points reservation is still not working at all.

When can we expect these to be corrected?? This is really getting tiresome.

I did get in at 12:10 PM EST but the resort ID search didn't work. The area search did work for one area.

Even if it lets you in there is NO inventory shown on the Points side. Zero. Doesn't matter what dates or location you search for - it's like the II site "Nothing found in that area at that time" or I guess it's really "Sorry, we did not find a match for your search. Please change your search criteria and try again.". Maybe II has taken over RCI? I've never seen such a fragile site for a company that supposedly has talented people and a product largely based on web services. They apparently employ AOL and Microsoft programmer rejects. And neither one of those other companies are reknown for quality web design or reliability. But RCI has them beat hands down.

Well as of Sunday morning after the weekly update, I see we can now get into the weeks system.

Points: Still can't search on anything as a points reservation

The Secod Choice box in weeks reservations still not working.

I was hoping that the weekly shut down would take care of these basic NEEDS. I guess not.

I was trying to do an exchange today and every resort code i enter said invalid resort. I checked the resort directory and was using the correct code. I have never been to a website that has so many problems as RCI's site.

Unless ALL of Florida is booked from March 13, 2005 to December 31, 2005 (the dates I tried in two week increments) the result that is returned:

"Sorry, we did not find a match for your search. Please change your search criteria and try again." isn't right.

Thus, IMHO, it isn't working. But thats really not a surprise to anyone that tries to use it regularly. Can we ever get a fix that isn't just a "wait awhile and it will work" standard reply? The site is seriously flawed and needs some serious quality control at a minimum.

The people responsible for the website should have been replaced a long tiome ago. Looks like RCI is intent on doing nothing or maybe they are simply incompetent. I find it hard to believe that whoever is responsible for the website operation would let this poor service continue month after month.

Have not had any problems till this morning. Now it is telling me also that my log in info is incorrect. It is correct. This is quite an annoying problem.

You said to let you know if the, "login info is incorrect", appeared again. Well, it's back this morning, March 8. It's very difficult to do business with RCI when the website can't be relied on. One wonders how many unseen mistakes are occurring!!
