Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan
Quarter House - Mardi Gras Week, New Orleans
Marriott Streamside, Vail
Nob Hill Inn, S.F.
Orange Tree Resort, Scottsdale, Offseason week
Club La Pension 1 - Mardi Gras Week, New Orleans
Club La Pension 2 - Floating Week, New Orleans
Raintree Vacation Club - Alt. (Odd) Years
Royal Holiday Club Points
Plaza Resort & Spa
Sandy Point - Australia - RCI Points
Allen House, London - Alt. (Even) Years
Marriott Custom House, Boston

I often rent out the 2 Mardi Gras weeks and the profit from the rentals covers the annual maintenance fees for the rest. I usually aggregate my Royal Holiday Club Points and vacation with them every other year. I often give one of the weeks away as a gift to a friend or business associate. I use my RCI points from the Aussie timeshare for airfare, and that leaves me about 7 weeks a year average for vacation. I deposit many of the weeks for trading, and often get bonus weeks for the deposit, leaving me with roughly 12 or so weeks of vacation a year.

I have been trading into the future with current weeks, so none have gone to waste yet. But this year (2005), I am thinking of renting out some of my unused weeks in order to catch up with the number of weeks I currently have on deposit. I currently have 5 various weeks that I have not deposited or do not have booked for 2005, so I might just put them up for rent on ebay in a couple of months.

Those are my principles. And if you don't like them, well, I have others.

DVC - 300 points at Beach Club Villas
Fairfield - 126,000 EOY points at Sea Gardens, Pompano Beach (mainly to use for RCI deposits)

Have looked into making one more purchase. If I had the $$, my ideal purchase would be Hyatt (either Tahoe, Beaver Creek or Breckenridge) for mountain vacations. We got married at the Hyatt Tahoe so its special to us. Would also consider more Fairfield points or a well-priced fixed week resort.

I, too, am on the work til I die plan with only 3.5 weeks. My boss says I will die in my chair. I certainly hope to prove him WRONG, but 12 years in the chair and counting. Have to pay those outrageous SOK maintenance fees!
